Bobby

I had always wanted to own a Jack Russell Terrier. Bobby was born in a litter of five, and when I saw her it was love at first sight. I did not let the obvious birth defect change my mind. I paid $75.00. When we got her home we discovered that she ate but never went to the bathroom.  The Vet explained that Bobby was a conjoined twin. and would die soon if she did not have surgery.  We were left with a tough decision. There was a good chance that one or both of the twins could parish, or there was a slim chance that the surgery would be a success and one or both of the twins might live.  By the following photos it is obvious that Bobby #1 survived but sadly Bobby #2 did not survive.

Bobby has recovered well from the surgery and looks as though she will lead a normal life. Isn't she pretty?

Bobby loves to go running with me when I ride my mountain bike on the trails.

Bobby as the Christmas Reindeer. She was not very happy about having this get-up forced upon her. How humiliating!

Bobby is one year old this April of 2002.  It is spring, and we have one of the finest displays of Daisies in our front yard. Bobby loves to chase Cats, and has figured out how far Ziggy can reach to the end of his chain,. thus gets much enjoyment out of tormenting Ziggy. Hey! It's not all hard work though....
Bobby stops from her busy schedule to smell the roses, (Daisies)

Well, despite the fact that we tried to keep Bobby and Clifford separated while she was in heat, I guess we failed, as she is very pregnant.

Will she ever get her figure back?

Five Beautiful Puppies delivered, on New Years Day of 2005. Sorry, all the puppies have been given away...  Three will be Squirrel Dogs!
